Telephone Consultation (15 minutes): No Cost

15-minute telephone consultation to determine if Rivet's services are a good fit for your needs.

Initial Consultation (90 minutes): $275

Assesses major life domains to understand contributing factors and strengths, identify stressors and needs, and co-create a personalized support plan.

50-minute Individual/Family Sessions: $175

Ongoing sessions for solution-focused counseling and to address continuing concerns.

Crisis Support / Intensive Sessions (75-90 mins): $225- $275

Extended sessions for crisis support, stabilization, and planning.

Biopsychosocial Assessment: $380

A 90-minute appointment that provides a structured biopsychosocial assessment and subsequent written summary report. The assessment reviews mental health, substance use, social and environmental factors, strengths, and stressors to help identify support needs and next steps. This service is not intended for court-related matters.

Assistance in finding relevant youth and family community support services and understanding policy, legislation, contracts, and pathways. Examples include youth mental health and addictions, behavioral supports, parenting supports, and understanding FSCD and Children's Services. Includes meetings, planning, advocacy, coordination, and follow-up.

Customized presentations and workshops relating to youth mental health and addictions, and related community supports and pathways. 

Fees for your session are processed at the time of the appointment via the credit card we have on file, debit, Interac e-transfer, or via your support-services contract (eg. FSCD). Any missed appointments or appointments cancelled within 48 hours of the booking will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total amount, while those made within 24 hours are non-refundable; this will be billed at $175/50-minutes and charged to your payment method on file.

In special circumstances, such as emergencies, we encourage you to reach out as soon as possible. We will consider requests on a case-by-case basis. If you have any questions or need to process a cancellation, please contact us. 

Sessions with a Registered Social Worker (Bachelor of Social Work- BSW) may be claimed through extended health plans and employee assistance plans. Should we be unable to direct-bill your insurance provider, we will provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. You are responsible for checking with your insurer to confirm that Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) are covered with your insurance plan.

A valid credit card or debit card is required on file to reserve your appointment. This does not automatically charge your card for the session, and you may opt to pay via other methods as listed at the time of service.
